Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and Seanation (“we”) governing the use of the AFR app (the “App”). By installing or using the App you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Contact: info@seanation.com.

1. The service

AFR is a service for yacht festival participants: a live fleet map, boat tracking, race results, event schedules, and participant communication. Access to some features is controlled by the organizers of a specific yacht festival (crew rosters, race admission, events).

2. Account

An account is required; sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for actions taken from your account.
Minimum age is 18.
You can delete your account at any time: “More” (Ещё) → “Delete account”.

3. Location

Tracking is the App's core feature: while you participate in a yacht festival, your device's coordinates are recorded — including in the background — and your boat's position is visible to other participants under the yacht festival's rules. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Location access is optional: the programme, events, results and race replays work without it. Features that need the device's position (the mooring queue, the game's safe zones, recording the boat's track) are unavailable in that case, and the App says so where they are used. Regatta rule: a boat is admitted to a race only if its skipper has a device with background ("Always") location granted — otherwise the race track cannot be recorded, and the organizer cannot enter such a boat into a race.

Safety on the water. The App is not a navigation instrument or a safety device. Do not rely on it for navigation, situational assessment, or emergencies. The skipper is responsible for the safety of the crew and vessel.

4. User content and conduct

You can publish content in the App (photos, profile text, messages). You must not publish or send:

insults, threats, harassment, or hate speech;
pornography or other obscene content;
content that infringes others' rights (including copyright) or the law;
spam, fraudulent schemes, or impersonation;
other people's personal data without their consent.

We apply zero tolerance to objectionable content:

every participant's screen offers “Report” (Пожаловаться — sends a report to moderators) and “Hide” (Скрыть — instantly blocks that person from being shown to you);
reports are reviewed by moderators; offending content is removed and the offender may be blocked or removed — normally within 24 hours of the report.

By publishing content you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it in the App to other participants — solely to operate the service.

5. Prohibited use

interfering with the service or attempting unauthorized access;
automated collection of other participants' data;
using the App in violation of the law or third-party rights.

6. Liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruptions, inaccuracies in tracking data or results, or the actions of other users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate account access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is available at this address, with the effective date shown above. Material changes are announced in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Operator's country of permanent residence, except where mandatory rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
