This page explains how to delete an AFR account and what happens to the data afterwards. It applies to the AFR application, developed by Seanation.
Deletion takes effect immediately; no email confirmation step is required. You are signed out, all sessions on all devices are terminated, and the account can no longer be used to sign in.
If the app has already been removed from your phone, send a request to info@seanation.com from the email address used at registration. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.

The sailing festival's competitive history is retained in anonymized form: race tracks and results remain as the record of the competition but are no longer linked to an identifiable person — an anonymized marker replaces the name. This keeps past race results and other participants' achievements intact when a single account is deleted. The same applies to connections and records created jointly with other participants: they remain with those participants, without the deleted account's personal data.
Security audit entries (that a sign-in happened, that an account was deleted) contain technical identifiers only and are retained as part of the security log.
One special case: if the account is the platform's only organizer, deletion is refused until the organizer role has been handed to another participant. The app states this directly on the deletion screen.
